The Heart of Virginia Louise

Our story

Long before I planted my first container or designed my first porch, I learned to love the garden at the side of a woman named Virginia Louise—my grandmother, my guide, and the keeper of my earliest memories in the soil.

She showed me that beauty comes in seasons, that hands in the dirt can feel like home, and that tending to a space is really about tending to the people who live there. Her garden was more than flowers; it was comfort, charm, and quiet magic—the kind I carry with me even now.

Today, my landscaping and container garden designs are a continuation of her legacy: warm, personal, thoughtful, and rooted in love. Every porch I refresh, every planter I fill, and every seasonal design I create is meant to evoke that same feeling she gave me—that a home can be more welcoming, more alive, and more itself when nature touches the doorstep.

I sign my work with her name not as a label, but as a love letter—to the woman who started it all, and to every person whose home I now get to brighten.

This isn’t just landscaping.

It’s legacy made beautiful.

Love,

Virginia Louise

"I’ve never had someone care for my porch the way Virginia Louise does. Each season feels like a fresh start—intentional, thoughtful, and perfectly curated. It’s more than landscaping; it’s art that lives on my doorstep."
